Substitute Transportation Aide

Lakeview School District is a comprehensive school of approximately 3,850 students in grades K-12 with 500 faculty and support staff members with an annual General Fund Budget of $34 million. The District is comprised of six school buildings, four K-4 elementary buildings, one 5-8 middle school building and one high school. Summary: To assist in providing safe transportation of students to and from designated locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned Ride the bus to assist in safely transporting students to and from school Assist with loading, unloading and crossing students Assist students with restraint requirements Assist students with health issues Assist driver in maintaining appropriate student behavior Respond to the needs of students and bus driver Communicates in an appropriate fashion with students, parents and staff May be required to accompany student to his/her residence Attend training and meetings as requested or required Must hold valid CPR certificate or ability to obtain a valid CPR certificate (District will provide training) Education and/or Experience High School diploma or GED.
