Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Location: The position is based in a healthcare facility specializing in cardiovascular intensive care. This role involves providing expert nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar ICU setting and hold current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Job Details Position: Registered Nurse, ICU Cardiovascular Night shift Qualifications: Valid and current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; minimum of 2 years clinical experience in ICU; experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line care/management, and CVA/Stroke management. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Details: Must be willing to float to Med/Surg ICU, Neuro ICU, or Burn ICU if needed. No local radius is accepted; travel distance restrictions apply. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiovascular conditions; assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal, manage ventilated patients, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, and monitor dysrhythmias. Submission Requirements: Valid OK or Compact Registered Nurse license at time of submission; current license documentation must be provided.
