JOB DESCRIPTION The FOX Studio Lot is looking for a Grill Cook to join their team in Los Angeles, CA! A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Food preparation and production related to the assigned outlet and station Prepare, produce, and cook all food products as assigned by the Outlet Chef for the Operation's needs Maintain all equipment in good order through proper use and care Maintain assigned station in a clean and organized state at all times Clean up and wipe down the station at the end of the shift Assist in putting away all delivered merchandise (produce, meat, fish, dry goods, etc.) Adhere to all State and Local Health Department rules and regulations Other duties as assigned by chefs/supervisors Overtime and earlier start times as required by business needs WHAT YOU WILL NEED Available to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed High school diploma and/or certificate/diploma from an accredited culinary program or equivalent work experience 3+ years of prior culinary experience Basic knife handling, chopping, slicing, grilling, and sautéing Food Safety & Sanitation knowledge Able to read and follow assigned recipes and kitchen standards, with excellent customer service and guest interaction Able to lift 25lbs We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $25.76 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
