Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your clinical expertise to conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients on their first visit, assessing their mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, setting realistic goals in collaboration with patients to promote recovery and improve their quality of life.
• Employ a variety of manual therapy techniques, exercise modalities, and patient education strategies to facilitate healing and pain relief, regularly adapting approaches based on patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families on at-home care techniques, including exercises to perform independently, to maximize recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records, including evaluation results, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a patient's condition.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At New Millennium Pain and Spine, you will primarily work with patients recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain conditions, and rehabilitating sports injuries. Your role is pivotal in guiding individuals from pain management to functional independence, making a tangible difference in their lives through recovery-oriented strategies and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional clinical experience, which may include internships or residencies in orthopedic settings.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, pathology, and therapeutic interventions.
• Hands-on experience with manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients.

Preferred Experience

• Preferred candidates will possess advanced certifications in areas such as Orthopedic Manual Therapy, McKenzie Method, or similar methodologies.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting is a plus, as is familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
