Schedule: Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday); Float within scope to support multiple ED units including two rapid evaluation units and two locked Behavioral Health units

Highlights

• 54-bed Emergency Department averaging 120 visits per day with full-spectrum patient population (neonatal through geriatric)
• Primary Stroke Center with Gold Plus recognition from the American Heart Association
• Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6; Behavioral Health units maintain 1:6 ratio with dedicated security team support
• Two rapid evaluation units for urgent care and critical care needs with rapid medical screenings
• Charting system: Cerner with FirstNet and Launch
• Comprehensive support including care management, behavioral health services, and interpretation services

Requirements

• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required upon submission
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience required (or 2 years Level I or Level II trauma experience may be considered)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS required
• Prophecy Relias Advanced Emergency Department assessment required
• CEN certification preferred
• 4 hours of annual stroke continuing education required
• Precepting and training experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted with required experience
• Professional references required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
