Develops new technologies and platforms and translates into new strategic growth opportunities. Highlights promising ways to reposition the business through disruptive breakthroughs. Responsibilities Supports and works on scoping experiments to demonstrate idea feasibility and share results Carry out experimentations, trials, characterization, analysis and other tasks to support project needs Carryout appropriate R&D experimental design, trials, testing, recommendations to support other BU stakeholders and contribute to overall business improvements and growth Summarize experimental and theoretical work to support invention disclosure submissions and patent filings Maintain an organized and tidy workspace to promote efficiency and a safe environment Embrace a diverse and inclusive culture This is a hybrid position located in Lincolnshire, IL. This position is expected to start February 2027. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s (BS) Degree in Science or similar discipline Preferred Qualifications Successful completion of a Zebra Technologies Internship Hands‑On Lab R&D: Design, prepare, and physically execute bench‑scale experiments, material trials, and chemical formulations to prove feasibility and accelerate product development. Know Your Rights Conozca Sus Derechos Pay Range $61,040.00 - $91,560.00 Annual Incentive Compensation In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 5% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
