You will be working alongside a team of developers and testers to triage customer issues, fix customer and security related issues, and upgrade third party software. You will also bring improvements to current processes where possible to enable us to work faster and more efficiently As a Sr Software Developer, you will:Work collaboratively with development, testing, product, operations, and support peers across the SAS9 Division to triage and resolve customer related issues.Ensure quality by creating and supporting automated tests with extensive code coverage.Scope requirements and estimate effort.Support internal and external customers.Embrace curiosity, passion, authenticity and accountability. These are our values and influence everything we do.Required qualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field.8+ years of experience as a developer on large software projects.Strong Java programming experience.Experience with SQL and Oracle, PostgreSQL or DB2 databasesExperience with Jenkins and PythonStrong understanding of REST APIs.Ability to write and maintain unit tests.Bash Shell experience and knowledge of Linux commands Experience with Apache Server and Tomcat.Familiarity with security principles (FIPS, TLS, Certificate and Private Key infrastructure, ciphers).Experience using Gerrit, Git, or GitHub for source code management and code review.
