Job Title: 2nd Shift Cleanroom Technician

Job Description

This role supports the production of single-use surgical items, instruments, and kits in a controlled cleanroom environment. The 2nd Shift Cleanroom Technician assembles, inspects, and packages medical devices according to strict quality and documentation standards, helping ensure safe and reliable products for hospitals and healthcare product manufacturers.

2nd shift - 2pm to 10:30pm

$17.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Count, cut, measure, and prepare materials per DMR instructions
• Perform visual inspections and report issues to Production Supervisor
• Complete inspections, documentation, and control numbers per QS/GMP
• Seal products using proper procedures and machine settings
• Prepare WIP for sterilization and maintain required documentation
• Manage inventory flow (staging, segregation, rotation)
• Follow cleanroom etiquette and gowning procedures
• Perform scheduled facility cleaning per QS requirements
• Support quality system objectives and suggest improvements
• Work collaboratively to meet production and company goals
• Maintain a positive attitude and support team morale
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Skills

• Follow detailed work instructions (DMR, work orders)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Comfortable in structured production environments
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Operate basic production/packaging equipment
• Basic English communication skills
• Comfortable in cleanroom settings
• Team player; able to work 2nd shift with OT as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in cleanroom, medical device, or warehouse preferred
• Production, packing, or medical assembly experience a plus
• Knowledge of QS/GMP and quality systems
• Strong team contributor with leadership mindset
• Comfortable working with Spanish‑speaking teams
• Able to suggest process and efficiency improvements

Work Environment

This is a 2nd‑shift (2:00–10:30 PM) cleanroom role in a small team, requiring strict QS/GMP compliance, full gowning, basic English communication, and standing production work in a quiet, cleanliness‑focused environment, with possible weekday or Saturday overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Placentia, CA.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
