Travel Nursery/L&D Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Newborn Nursery and Labor & Delivery for a travel position. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and certifications to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and assess the health status of newborns and mothers.Provide care for patients throughout the labor and delivery process.Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and patient management.Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes for mothers and infants.Administer medications and treatments as necessary.QualificationsCurrent BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mother/baby setting.Ability to float to other units as needed.Valid nursing license; willingness to review candidates with pending state licenses may be considered.Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a commitment to a duration of 13 weeks.Applicants should be prepared to discuss their previous experiences and the potential for rehire if applicable.
