Externship Overview We are seeking a veterinary student extern to join our 6-doctor general practice. We have a strong focus on maintaining exceptional client communication, patient care and medical protocol standards. Responsibilities Participate in clinical rounds and observe/assist in patient care under supervision. Access mentorship from multiple veterinarians and gain exposure to basic surgical procedures. Observe visiting specialists providing echocardiogram and advanced ultrasound services. Collaborate with the veterinary team to support patient care and client communication. Qualifications Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school (VMD or DVM degree path).
