The Ridge Resort Stateline, NV 89449, USA Description The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of general maintenance technicians to provide service to owners and guests in the maintenance and repair of timeshare guest units and assets. This individual will participate in the training and supervision of their team. This Supervisor will serve as a role model, develop talent, and provide staff support in handling complex situations and ensure the staff’s commitment to meeting service expectations. This supervisor will provide direct supervision of engineering maintenance teams to assure proper response to requests for service, planned maintenance, and preventative maintenance. This individual must be knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures associated with industry and company standards. Assure all policies and procedures are being followed Assist in controlling department budgetary expenditures QUALIFICATIONS: Must have 2 years of supervisory experience or above Demonstrated proficiency in Level I–III general maintenance duties, including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a minimum of 1 year of driving experience Must meet company-required motor vehicle policy standards Demonstrates a sincere dedication to providing an unsurpassed level of ownership and guest satisfaction Demonstrates ability to coach and train employees Demonstrates a professional appearance and pleasant personality Demonstrates a high degree of judgement and making sound decisions Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and organization Ability to work in various and sometimes extreme weather conditions Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written standard operating procedures Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff Must have strong troubleshooting and face-to-face guest communication skills Must be able to follow written instructions and complete documentation associated with unit maintenance Familiar with fire and life safety systems At Holiday Inn Club Vacations, we believe in strengthening families.
