Maintenance Technician

Under limited supervision, perform skilled work involving the operation, maintenance, repair, alteration and additions to; HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical building systems, building furnishings and site improvements. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Perform mechanical repairs such as welding, pipe fitting, and equipment adjustments to minimize downtime.

Assist with painting projects and general facilities upkeep to enhance the appearance and functionality of the premises.

Supervise or assist with subcontractors or team members during complex repairs or projects, demonstrating leadership and supervision skills.

Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with other departments to address facility needs promptly and professionally.

Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments.

Hands-on welding skills are highly desirable.

Ability to read technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Facility/Building Maintenance Technician or equivalent experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
