Warehouse Janitor

1st Shift Warehouse Janitor

Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Janitor to join our Distribution Center in Jackson, TN. This is a floating role.

Duties:

• Sweeping and dusting
• Emptying trash
• Cleaning of restrooms
• Moving pallets from various locations to designated area using a forklift
• Various department projects
• Supporting various departmental activities
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Some janitorial experience
• Ability to stand on feet for shift
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to follow all safety rules

Scheduled work hours: Monday - Friday 7:30AM – 4:00PM
