Job Summary:
The Insurance Data Management Specialist is responsible for supporting insurance verification, billing processes, and revenue cycle operations within a healthcare environment. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to ensure accurate insurance data management and efficient claim processing. The position works closely with internal teams to maintain data integrity and support operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and maintain insurance information for commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care plans.
• Support billing operations and revenue cycle management activities.
• Review, analyze, and update insurance records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and resolve insurance-related discrepancies and data issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support claims processing and reimbursement activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records within applicable systems.
• Monitor insurance eligibility and coverage information to support operational requirements.
• Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to improve data quality and workflow efficiency.
  Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare insurance, revenue cycle management, eligibility verification, medical billing, or insurance data management.
• Working knowledge of commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care insurance plans.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday during designated business hours.
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting healthcare billing and reimbursement processes.
• Familiarity with healthcare information systems and insurance databases.
• Experience handling insurance eligibility verification and claim-related activities.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle best practices.
