Operations Manager

Why this, why now

A Berlin consumer health company, currently in stealth. The founders have done this before: they built a company in a very similar space, scaled it, and sold it for a nine-figure sum. Now they are running the same playbook a second time, with everything they learned in round one.

It is working faster than planned. Demand is running well ahead of our own forecasts, and the goal is more than €100M in annual revenue by the end of 2027. That makes operations the place where growth either compounds or breaks. We share the full picture (product, numbers, plan) in the first conversation, not in a job ad.

How we work

• No middle managers. No delegating for the sake of delegating.
• Everyone rolls up their sleeves and delivers, and while doing it builds the process or automation so the same task never has to be done manually again.
• AI and automation are the default way of working, not a side project.
• Speed is treated as a core skill.

The role

You keep the engine running while it accelerates, and you make sure it can take the next doubling.

• Run core operational processes reliably, day in, day out.
• Execute pragmatically: if something needs doing today, it gets done today.
• Keep sight of what really matters. Separate the critical few things from the noise and set priorities accordingly.
• Build the processes, SOPs and automations that let volume grow without headcount growing with it.
• Set up the numbers and dashboards that surface problems before customers notice them.
• Work directly with the founders, with no management layers in between.

Seniority is flexible. We shape scope and title around the person.

Who we are looking for

• A record of running operations where reliability mattered, ideally at a fast-growing startup, consumer or e-commerce business, marketplace, or healthcare company.
• Pragmatic and reliable in execution, without losing the big picture.
• You have systematised or automated work yourself (no-code tools, scripts, AI workflows).
• High ownership. You do not wait to be told.
• Fluent German and strong English.
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate, and on-site five days a week.

Healthcare or regulated-industry experience is a plus.

Compensation

• Base salary of €60,000–€95,000 depending on seniority, plus equity.

Process

1. A short async case instead of a first call: a Loom walking through an automation you have built, plus three written questions.
2. Conversation with the Founder's Associate.
