Job Summary
Blue Prairie Services is looking for a dependable part-time cleaner to service commercial properties across the northwest suburbs. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, and can move between job sites throughout the week.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine janitorial and commercial cleaning at multiple client locations
- Travel between job sites in Barrington
- Restock supplies and report maintenance issues or low inventory
- Follow site-specific checklists, security procedures, and safety practices
- 8 hours per week on average
- Tuesday evening after 8:30 pm availability is required
- Schedule is set in advance; we'll work with you on consistency
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel between job sites (required)
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and perform physical work: standing, bending, kneeling, reaching
- Must pass a background check
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently without close supervision
- Dependable, punctual, and professional around clients and building occupants
Preferred (not required):
- Prior commercial or janitorial cleaning experience
