Maintenance Technician

Job Overview The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial machinery, equipment, utilities and physical structures. Responsibilities Perform basic pipefitting, welding, painting and plumbing. Perform basic electrical functions, including running conduit, 3‑phase motor hook‑up, and electrical connections. Employ other mechanical craft skills in connection with repair or maintenance of equipment. Read and interpret basic blueprints, sketches, instruction manuals and work orders. Perform basic functions within the waste/water treatment facility. Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems. Fabricate steel and sheet metal projects. Requisition materials as needed, in accordance with appropriate purchasing guidelines. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 4 years applicable work experience, or an equivalent combination of industrial maintenance experience and education.
