Concordia University St. Paul Accelerated BSN Program Nursing InstructorThe Concordia University St. Paul Accelerated BSN program is seeking for highly energetic, Nursing Instructors to oversee student clinical rotations in the Twin Cities area. As a Nursing Clinical Instructor and extended faculty member, the primary responsibility is the clinical education of the students in the ABSN program. Clinical Instructors are assigned teaching responsibilities in a clinical area at our partner health care facilities in the Twin Cities area and are expected to contribute to the education of the students including psychomotor skills, standards of practice, and critical thinking. Please consider supporting the next generation of nurses in your community!Clinical Areas: Obstetrics (OB) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)Requirements:Preferred: Two years of teaching experienceMaster's degree in nursingMinimum: Current unencumbered RN license in MinnesotaTwo years of successful clinical nursing practiceEnrolled in Master's (nursing) with anticipated completion in the next 12 months or lessAble to work 8-12 hour shifts in clinical settingWhat You Will Do:Facilitate effective student learning in the assigned clinical settingProvide adequate guidance for students in the clinical setting related to professionalism, practice, and researchSelects and organizes learning activities which facilitate the student's attainment of the course objectivesEnsure effective evaluations of student practicePromote evidence-based practiceProvide a supportive learning environment by providing feedback on student progress to supervisory personnelCollaborate with other faculty, administration as and with the healthcare partner and its staffAttend all required orientation, training and faculty meetings Grand Canyon Education, Inc.
