Whether you are just starting your career or in need of a challenge, we recognize, develop, and empower talent!Position: Packaging Machine TechnicianDepartment: OperationsWork Location: Arlington, TN, 100% OnsiteWhat you will be doing:Responsible for routine mechanical maintenance and repairs of CMC and Engraving equipment; ensuring the machinery works to a high standard and the area is kept clean; responsible for the performance of the machines in the work-cells. It's critical to have a friendly demeanor and leadership abilities. This role is not limited to CMC and engraving department and will have cross-training initiatives encompassing the entire facility.Learn and demonstrate preventative maintenance and maintenance activities for engraving department.Operate and monitor production machines daily to ensure efficiencyEnsure machines are running smoothly, maintaining a steady production pace, and meeting quality standardsEstablish procedures and safety guidelines while working in a team environment to achieve production goalsCollaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processesMaintain the tooling and machinery in good working condition through regular inspections and maintenanceSetup, test and adjust new packaging machinery equipment or processesPerform preventative maintenance tasks on CMC and engraving equipment.Assist with needed repairs on all conveyor and facilities equipment.Skills needed to be successful in this role:Ability to repair and demonstrate troubleshooting methods in a timely manner.Can understand the metric system as the machinery is European.Understanding, knowledge, and experience with production/packaging machinery.Understanding of automated machinery and ability to work with HMIs.Must be able to perform routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and setup of machinery.Ability to read manuals, electrical diagrams, drawings and interpret a variety of instructions whether in written, oral or diagram form.Ability to service and perform maintenance on packaging machinery to a high standard.PC literateA willingness to learn and the drive to become a perfectionist.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Familiarity with corrugate machineryFamiliarity with current safety OSHA regulationsUnderstanding of use and implementation of LOTO.Maintaining a safe working environment and culture.Willingness and ability to learn new equipment, procedures, and repair of equipment.Cross training of current and new techs on CMC equipment.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma3+ years of experienceMechanical repair and maintenance experience in a production environment.Prior Machine Operating experienceAuthorized to work in the United States on a full-time basisBenefits: Salary + Bonus , Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Paid Holidays, Paid Parental Leave, 401(k) with company match, Basic Life Insurance, Short Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD), Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Charitable (volunteer) Leave, and Educational Assistance.Wondering if you should apply?
