Industry Pharmaceuticals Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President, Head of USA to lead its business development, site operations, and CMC and technical leadership. The successful candidate will be a full P&L owner, responsible for the operation profit, and will act as a senior strategic business development interface for global clients. This role requires a strong understanding of client-driven development models, a background in small-molecule API development CMC, process development, and chemical synthesis, as well as prior leadership experience within a CDMO and global pharmaceutical company. The VP will also be involved in long-term CMC and technology roadmap planning, and must be a strategic thinker with a strong execution focus, and a hands-on scientific leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Applicants for the VP, Head of USA position at the company should have a PhD in a related discipline and at least 15 years of sales or business development experience within a global CDMO environment. Technical expertise in chemical synthesis, route development, process scale-up, and GMP manufacturing of APIs is essential. The role demands a leader who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and who can provide technical leadership to ensure project delivery on time.
