Qualifications and Experience

• Current valid license as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience delivering PT services in a school environment preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapy techniques and relevant protocols
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt and tailor therapy activities to individual student IEPs and learning abilities
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized PT goals and treatment plans as part of the IEP process
• Deliver direct therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services provided and progress made
• Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff regarding student goals and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and recommendations
• Support students in accessing their educational environments safely and successfully
