A Day in the Life of an Orthodontic Dental Assistant

As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you work closely with our doctors and dental team to ensure that our patients receive top-notch care and leave with smiles on their faces. On a day-to-day basis, you are responsible for welcoming patients, preparing them for their appointments, and assisting with clinical procedures. With a steady hand and attention to detail, you also help with taking x-rays as well as applying sealants and temporary crowns. You take pride in providing critical office assistance and ensuring high-quality patient care!

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant job experience required
• Florida radiology license
• Must have experience as an orthodontic assistant
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification
• Some dental experience is needed
