Production Planning Manager

Land O’Frost is hiring a Production Planning Manager (internally titled Supply Planning Manager) to lead production scheduling and supply planning operations at our 300-employee manufacturing facility in Lansing, IL.

This is a highly visible, hands-on role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving complex scheduling challenges, working cross-functionally with plant operations, and making real-time production decisions that keep the facility running efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

• Own daily and weekly production scheduling for the plant

• Align labor, raw materials, and production capacity with customer demand

• Manage finished goods and WIP inventory levels

• Partner closely with Operations, Quality, Procurement, and Plant Leadership

• Drive process improvements within planning and scheduling operations

• Hire and mentor a Production Scheduler as the team grows

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of production or supply planning experience within a manufacturing plant

• Food or beverage manufacturing experience required

• Strong Excel skills and comfort working in a manual scheduling environment

• ERP experience required (IFS experience is a plus)

• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a plant setting
