So We Are Better + Together Work location Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093 Work Hours Full Time/Days; Friday, Saturday, Sunday (7:00a – 7:30p) GI Department Highlights Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team Fast-Paced, high-volume department Promotes within Education and growth opportunities for all interested High retention/Low turnover in this department Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or Associate’s degree in nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred Other – CIAFE; must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required 6-months direct Endo/GI Lab experience as a RN strongly preferred RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire required PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire required A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
