Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative School Social Worker to support students in a middle school setting. This position serves a self-contained Emotional Behavioral Disability (EBD) classroom and works closely with educators, case managers, families, and support staff to help students develop the social, emotional, and behavioral skills needed to thrive in the school environment. Caseload Self-Contained EBD Classroom Approximately 10–12 students No cross-categorical students Responsibilities Provide school-based social work services and related services as outlined in student IEPs Collaborate with special education case managers, teachers, administrators, and families Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Assist with behavior intervention planning and implementation Maintain required documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines Serve as a resource and advocate for students and families Qualifications Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) School Social Worker License required Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral disabilities preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Paid Time Off (PTO) Retirement plan options Continuing education opportunities Professional support throughout your assignment Join a team committed to helping students succeed and making a meaningful impact every day.
