Production Line Laborer

Job Summary The market leader in Non-Ferrous Metal Recycling GLE Scrap Metal, has an immediate opening for a production line laborer. Location: Ocoee, FL Responsibilities Prepare and sort various wire for pre-shred Identify and remove non-conforming materials that will contaminate the production batch Maintain a clean workstation and production floor Assemble packaging for outbound materials Follow production guidelines and specifications Finalize and pack products for shipment Operate and maintain machinery and production line equipment Monitor the assembly line and remove faulty products Work on the production line and meet production targets Report any issues to the supervisor on duty Perform other tasks as assigned Follow health and safety standards Requirements Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license HS Diploma or Equivalent Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and perform other physical activities for extended periods Ability to work outdoors with exposure to sun and inclement weather Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical Skills Use of hand and power tools, computers, forklifts Ability to work safely and follow all company policies Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, squat, lift, kneel, pull/push and reach Ability to be self-directed with minimal supervision Job Details Seniority level : Entry level Employment type : Full-time Job function : Other #J-18808-Ljbffr
