Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Emergency Room Nurse

Provide specialized emergency nursing care to acute patients in a fast-paced ER environment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver top-tier patient care and stabilize critically ill individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients rapidly upon arrival to determine acuity and priority care needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following protocols and physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs, EKGs, and equipment such as IV pumps and ultrasound devices.
• Collaborate with team members to stabilize patients and escalate care when necessary.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the Meditech EMR system.
• Maintain adherence to unit policies, protocols, and safety standards to ensure quality care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license with current, active status.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent acute care ER experience.
• Hold certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC.
• Demonstrate experience with Meditech electronic health record system.
• Show excellent communication skills, teamwork, and ability to thrive under pressure.
