Childcare Bus Driver

Childcare Center Bus DriverAs a Bus Driver at Child Development Schools, you will support our center by providing safe, reliable transportation for our students to and from school and/or activities. You may also be supporting classrooms, working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.What your day looks like:Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirementsProvide on time, safe and reliable transportation for our Before and After School programsEngage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor timeObserve children and share developmental notes with the Lead TeacherBuild relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communicationAssist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reportsMaintain a safe Bus environmentPay and benefitsPay: $13-$15 per hour, based on experience and education.Full-time employees receive:Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability401(k)9 company-paid holidays and 8 days of PTO50% tuition discount for your own children enrolled at a CDS centerUp to $5,250 in annual tuition reimbursement for continued educationAccess to PerkSpot for discounts on major brands and servicesCoaching, mentoring, and ongoing professional developmentRequirementsAt least 21 years oldHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to pass a background checkGenuine care for children and a commitment to their safety and well-beingStrong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with familiesPhysical ability to meet the demands of working with young childrenClean driving recordA degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education and prior experience in a licensed childcare center are a plus, but not required.
