Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive preventive and therapeutic hygiene care. Perform patient assessments, periodontal charting, and oral cancer screenings. Educate patients on oral health, home care, and disease prevention. Partner with dentists to identify and present treatment opportunities for improved outcomes. Build trust and lasting relationships with patients and their families. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with state and regulatory guidelines. Deliver high‑quality care through preventive treatments, diagnostics, and evidence‑based protocols. Educate and motivate patients toward better oral and overall health. Collaborate with dentists and hygiene teammates to co‑diagnose and personalize treatment plans. Create a welcoming, judgement‑free environment for every patient. Stay current with new technologies and instruments that advance care. Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented office culture focused on outstanding patient care. Qualifications Current Iowa Dental Hygienist license or eligibility to obtain licensure. Current CPR certification. Strong communication and patient education skills.
