Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients.
  • Deliver personalized counseling and support through one-on-one and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies.
  • Design and implement tailored service plans that align with each client’s distinct goals and objectives.
  • Advocate vigorously for clients' rights, ensuring equitable access to resources and promoting social justice across various platforms.
  • Engage in program development, evaluation, and detailed grant reporting to ensure the sustainability of our services.
  • Collaborate with community organizations, governmental agencies, and local volunteers to expand service offerings and outreach.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and community outreach efforts to enhance service delivery and organizational effectiveness.

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals and families experiencing diverse challenges, including mental health issues, trauma, and socio-economic hardships. Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
  • Proven understanding of social justice, advocacy frameworks, and trauma-informed care practices.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience working in a nonprofit organization or a similar setting that emphasizes community service and mental health.
  • Familiarity with local community resources and agencies to facilitate client referrals and connections.
  • Demonstrated capacity for program development and evaluation, particularly in nonprofit contexts.
