Job Title Physical Therapist Location Virginia | Outpatient Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 13 Weeks | 5 Days x 8 Hours Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring design of functional treatment programs that support effective return to community activities Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision and completing student evaluations Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements Actively pursue professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional activities and organizations Required Qualifications Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Virginia Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required; new graduates will not be considered Ability to complete documentation and ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals Demonstrated commitment to patient and employee safety standards and safe patient handling practices Preferred Experience / Skills Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy strongly preferred Familiarity with functional quality indicator assessments and outcomes-based documentation Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a structured outpatient setting with a focus on patient-centered care and measurable outcomes Supportive clinical environment that encourages ongoing professional development and continuing education Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID #778812.
