Forklift OperatorJoin our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator where you will primarily operate sit-down propane forklifts. In our receiving department, the forklifts are narrower with upright tanks, requiring precise maneuvering through tight clearances. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, and occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.ResponsibilitiesEnsure materials are properly labeled and stored in the warehouse.Stage loads for trucks scheduled for the next morning.Communicate daily with the shipping team and manager to stay updated on upcoming trucks and priorities.Understand and follow shipping/receiving procedures.Produce accurate and legible paperwork.Communicate with leadership throughout the shift to understand production schedules.Complete daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts of the finished goods warehouse, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.Maintain cleanliness of the shipping/receiving area.Essential SkillsProven forklift experience.Material handling expertise.Experience with RF scanners.Proficiency in using sit-down forklifts.Competency with pallet jacks.Work in a climate-controlled, clean environment that supports a balanced work-life culture. The facility is a food manufacturing plant that emphasizes safety and efficiency.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Prairie, MN. The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
