Job Summary

\n

The SAP Central Finance (CFIN) Tower Lead will serve as the primary onsite lead for Finance tower operations supporting a SAP Central Finance environment. This role requires deep expertise in SAP CFIN, SAP FI/CO, SAP Treasury (TRM), AIF, SLT, and MDG integration. The consultant will be responsible for operational governance, incident management, replication monitoring, reconciliation activities, month-end close support, service delivery leadership, and stakeholder management across onsite and offshore teams. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on SAP Finance expertise with leadership experience managing critical support operations within a global AMS environment.

Responsibilities

\n

SAP CFIN Operations & Support

\n

• Lead end-to-end SAP Central Finance (CFIN) and Finance tower operations.

\n

• Provide support across SAP FI/CO processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, CO, Product Costing, and CO-PA.

\n

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.

\n

• Analyze and resolve complex SAP Finance and CFIN production issues.

\n

• Drive operational stability and proactively identify business-critical issues.

\n

Replication, Integration & Data Integrity

\n

• Monitor and troubleshoot SAP SLT replication processes.

\n

• Manage SAP AIF monitoring and resolution of replication and interface failures.

\n

• Support CFIN reconciliation processes and financial data validation activities.

\n

• Investigate and resolve mapping, master data, replication, and integration issues.

\n

• Coordinate source-to-target financial reconciliation and data integrity efforts.

\n

• Support ongoing replication, validation, and error-handling processes.

\n

Incident, Problem & Change Management

\n

• Lead P1/P2 incident governance and escalation management activities.

\n

• Coordinate bridge calls and cross-functional resolution efforts for critical incidents.

\n

• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.

\n

• Manage SLA compliance and reduce aging ticket backlogs.

\n

• Convert recurring incidents into permanent problem management initiatives.

\n

• Support Finance and CFIN changes, enhancements, testing, deployments, and stabilization activities.

\n

Tower Leadership & Service Delivery

\n

• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for the SAP Finance and CFIN tower.

\n

• Lead and mentor a global onsite/offshore delivery team.

\n

• Coordinate work across Finance, Integration, Basis, Development, and Functional teams.

\n

• Drive SLA adherence, backlog reduction, operational excellence, and service quality improvements.

\n

• Provide executive-level status updates, risk management reporting, and stakeholder communications.

\n

• Lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives across tower operations.

\n

Cross-Functional Collaboration

\n

• Partner with Finance stakeholders, business users, and IT leadership.

\n

• Coordinate with SAP MM, SD, PP, Treasury, MDG, ABAP, Basis, and Integration teams.

\n

• Support governance reviews, operational reporting, and strategic planning activities.

\n

• Ensure alignment across onsite and offshore teams to deliver stable and efficient Finance operations.

\n

\n

Qualifications

\n

• 10+ years of SAP Finance (FI/CO) experience with strong SAP S/4HANA expertise.

\n

• Significant hands-on experience in SAP Central Finance (CFIN).

\n

• Expertise in AIF, SLT, MDG, key mapping, business mapping, and data replication.

\n

• Strong understanding of Finance close processes, reconciliation, and reporting.

\n

• Experience managing P1/P2 incidents, SLA governance, and service delivery operations.

\n

• Proven experience leading onsite/offshore teams in a global delivery model.

\n

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

\n

• Experience supporting large-scale AMS and production support environments.
