The distributed team works closely with Clover finance and compliance business counterparts at region and global scale.As a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in producing quality, reliable, and scalable infrastructure to support our platform. We are looking for talented Sr Engineers to help us deploy and operate our next generation of billing software. Expect to contribute to all aspects of project design, development, and delivery with specific focus on the development of new features and tooling to support our product and operational teams.What you will do:Work closely with engineering to refine our SDLC and implement much of the workflow.Collaborate with QA for system level production scale, validation and qualification of all changes going into production.Perform automation using available tools and/or developing toolsets to help with operational best practices.Collaborate with Clover's SRE, SecOps, and production CloudOps teams to integrate systems and automate next generation billing platform deployment, operations, SRE tasks, customer service, data analytics/metric capture, and financial processes.Monitor, triage, and mitigate issues in our integration, stage, and production environments.Ensure critical operational requirements are designed into all new features.What you will need to have:Bachelors degree in a science, engineering, or technical discipline.Experience working in a Java, REST, and microservice-based architectural environment, including handling failovers and resilience.SRE skills using common toolsets like Kubernetes, Jenkins, Grafana, and DataDog.Scripting skills such as Z Shell and Python.Experience with Sonarqube.Deep knowledge of Cloud Patterns, architectures, best practices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).Strong relational database experience, especially with MySQL.Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or another cloud service.What would be great to have:Strong data analysis skills to identify trends early and mitigate them before an issue arises.Building dashboards and experience with SnowflakeExcellent communication skills needed to work with other teams and individuals, often under pressure to resolve issues.Salary Range$140,000.00 - $210,000.00These pay ranges apply to employees in Sunnyvale, California.
