About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years, 5 years preferred License: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS Certifications: Required Must-Have: Community hospital experience, Epic experience, Level II trauma Description: We are seeking a CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a CT Tech with a focus on trauma cases. Experience in a community hospital setting is highly valued. Proficiency in using Epic for charting is required. This position requires the ability to perform a variety of CT scans including abdominal, chest, and cranial studies. Candidates should be prepared to work evenings, covering shifts on weekends. Knowledge of preparation and administration of contrast media is important. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to radiation safety and patient care. Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are essential. Return staff will be considered, and prior experience in a similar role is beneficial. This position involves working with patients across various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient care responsibilities will include managing a diverse range of CT imaging needs and ensuring high-quality results. The working environment requires adherence to isolation precautions and safety protocols. Candidates must possess the skills to start peripheral IVs and conduct various imaging studies efficiently. Knowledge of multiplanar reconstruction techniques and familiarity with relevant technologies will be advantageous. This role is vital in supporting the healthcare team's mission to provide exceptional patient care.
