SpringLeaf Healthcare Counseling Center is actively seeking a Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) to join our dedicated team in Bellevue, Washington. This remote position allows skilled professionals to deliver effective mental health services while enjoying the flexibility of a supportive outpatient office environment. With a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, we look for individuals committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Work Environment

Our outpatient office in Bellevue, WA, provides a dynamic work setting that fosters professional development and team collaboration. The role supports a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. The remote aspect of the job encourages work-life balance while enabling you to engage with clients in a meaningful way through teletherapy and in-person sessions as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify each patient's unique needs, informing the development of tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that honor individual cultural and personal backgrounds, ensuring effective delivery of care.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a wide array of mental health concerns, thereby promoting resilience and enhancing overall well-being.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care, ensuring the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, guiding patients through mental health emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families about their mental health conditions and available treatment options, fostering a deeper understanding of the resources in the community.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Actively participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions to enhance team performance and patient care.
  • Stay updated on current research, best practices, and relevant cultural considerations in mental health therapy to refine delivery methods constantly.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Washington.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients in understandings tailored to their cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for supporting diverse populations in their mental health journey.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in outpatient mental health settings, specializing in multicultural counseling approaches.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy methods and therapeutic tools, enhancing remote service delivery.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to positive team dynamics.
