Qualifications & Skills

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/CCMA) from a nationally recognized agency required
• Experience working in a primary care or family practice setting preferred
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) required
• Athenahealth experience is a plus
• Experience performing EKGs preferred
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make sound decisions and respond quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
