We value and reward hardworking, creative, and dedicated employees that desire to be part of a team committed to outstanding customer service.START YOUR CAREER NOW.The Shop Assistant is responsible for overseeing day to day activities and complete operation of the Pipe Shop.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Finishing, assembling, installation, and testing of components and assemblies of products including but not limited to; mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fluid, and pneumatic equipment applicationsCleaning, sanding, cutting, bending, de-burring, painting, and polishing of productsAssist in testing of components, assemblies, and systems for correct operation and performanceMaintain proper and accurate paperwork including completion of inspection documentationFollow documented procedures and maintain a high degree of qualityPerform housekeeping, organization, and maintenance of work area and toolsPainting and sandblasting of productThreading of conduit and pipePerform inspection of products using inspection equipment applicable to the taskIn order to achieve business objectives, work weeks in excess of 40 hours may be requiredFunction as a team member and support other teamsEnsure company policies are followedRepresent Pipe Shop in staff meetingsOther duties as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma or equivalent work experienceExperience with hand tools, including but not limited to, drills, grinders and sandersAbility to use, read and interpret a tape measureAbility to lead othersGood communication skills (verbal and written)Organized; Detail-OrientedAbility to multi-taskBasic computer/laptop skillsMust be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs.Must have current, valid driver's license and acceptable record at all times.BENEFITS:Competitive Salary + bonus401(k)/ Retirement savingsComprehensive Benefits (medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage)Career growthFriendly work environmentPaid vacation/holidays
