Position: Accounting Assistant
Job Objective:
Provide support to the accounting department by recording, monitoring, and analyzing the company's accounting and financial transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Record accounting journal entries for income, expenses, and general ledger transactions.
Enter and verify invoices, receipts, and tax-related documents.
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
Organize and maintain up-to-date accounting and tax records.
Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
Comply with the company's established policies and procedures.
Education:
Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in a similar position (preferred).
Knowledge:
General accounting principles.
Basic tax regulations.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).
Skills:

Integrity and confidentiality.
Proactive attitude.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
Safeguard financial documentation.
Meet reporting deadlines and complete assigned tasks on time.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Reports To:
General Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Finance Manager.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Accuracy of accounting records.
Timely completion of accounting closing activities.
Timely submission of reports.
Timely and accurate compliance with tax obligations.
