At Pyramid Healthcare Martinsburg in Hedgesville, we specialize in Substance Use Disorder treatment. Pyramid Healthcare Inc. has been in operations since 1999 and we currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, offering a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues. • Schedule: Full time, in-person, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
• Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals in establishing necessary connections with available supports in the community that will facilitate initiation and on-going engagement in the recovery process.
• Assists individuals in developing and solidifying long-term recovery supports, and providing services before, during, and following an individual's engagement in the treatment continuum.
• Work with the individual's family, service and treatment providers, other programs, and community supports to assist in achievement of these goals.
• Initiates and develops treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues and other staff.
• Performs individual and process group therapy sessions under the direction of the treatment supervisor including preparing materials for sessions.
• Manages client files and attends treatment team meetings with psychiatrist and staff.
• Communicates with referral sources and company representatives.
• Participates in community meetings with clients.
• Completes family sessions as necessary.
• Prepares utilization reviews with appropriate funding sources as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Education, Licensure, & Experience:

• REQUIRED: High school Diploma or GED
• Preferred: Bachelors degree in a human services or related field
• Recommended: One year of work experience in a substance abuse treatment facility and/or direct client support
