About the Role
At Prime Independent Living, dining is more than a meal-it's an experience. We're building a hospitality-driven environment where service feels thoughtful, personal, and elevated.
We're looking for Servers who take pride in what they do, enjoy being part of a true team, and want to be part of something that's redefining dining in a senior living setting. If you love creating meaningful experiences and prefer a schedule without late nights, this could be a great fit.
You'll play a key role in shaping each resident's day-serving not just meals, but moments of connection.
What You'll Do
- Welcome residents and guests with warmth and professionalism
- Guide guests through the menu, including daily features and offerings
- Take accurate orders using the POS system
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely, polished manner
- Anticipate needs and ensure a seamless dining experience
- Clear and reset tables to maintain a clean, inviting environment
- Maintain dining room cleanliness and presentation standards
- Process payments, when applicable
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Assist with side work, including stocking and preparation
What We're Looking For
- Previous serving experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stay organized and attentive in a fast-paced setting
- A genuine appreciation for working with and serving seniors
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry items up to 25 lbs
- Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Flexibility with schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
