Cardiac Catheterization Nurse specializing in Cardiac Cath Laboratory procedures. Located in Burlingame, California, this role involves providing expert nursing care within a diagnostic and interventional cardiology environment. The position requires proficiency in a wide range of cardiac procedures, including Percutaneous Coronary Interventions, structural heart interventions, and electrophysiology.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, with start times between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM.
• Schedule: 4 days per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse licensure, BLS (AHA) certification, ACLS certification, and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab nurse.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Skills: Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Arrhythmia Induction, ASD Closures, Baseline Measurements, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Circulate Procedures, Conduction Studies, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella Insertion, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab, Interventional Catheterizations, Interventional Radiology, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure, Left heart catheterization, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Pacemaker Insertion, Pacemaker/Defibrillator Lead Extraction/Removal, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz Monitoring, Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablator Atherectomy, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Valvuloplasty, Vascular Closure Systems, Ventricular Assist Device Insertion.
• Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures; candidates must provide verified references within the last year.
• Onboarding and Compliance: Labs to be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing; all work history verification and compliance documentation due 10 days prior to start date.
• Additional Information: The assignment is based at a facility with interdisciplinary support for cardiovascular patient care, including complex procedures such as structural heart interventions.
