Inpatient Occupational Therapist

Inpatient Occupational Therapist position available. The shift is Sunday through Thursday with 5x8 hour shifts. The average daily census is 14-16 patients. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are accepted. A weekend day will be required to work. The department is open 7 days a week. Preference is for a generalist who is confident with medical diagnoses. Candidates should be able to manage moderate to maximum assistance patients. Co-treatments and working with ventilated patients are expected. Ability to pivot easily and pick up additional evaluations throughout the day is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable floating based on job requirements. The facility upholds high standards for quality and patient safety. Special requirements include managing a variety of patient diagnoses, including amputee, arthritis, CVA rehabilitation, and others. Basic skills required include assessment, discharge planning, and safety injury prevention. Total staffing in the facility is 87 beds. The candidate must comply with all applicable policies.
