Ideal Candidate keen interest in Telecommunications, Media, and Technology industries solid financial statement analysis skills desire to deepen exposure to debt capital markets strong leadership pattern and ability to proactively interact with stakeholders intellectual curiosity and analytical skills excellent communication skills high productivity work ethic results-oriented mindset Essential Functions Perform analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality of companies in the sector Maintain comprehensive financial models Participate with senior analysts in meetings with industry management teams Help senior analysts prepare presentations for internal credit rating committees Participate in evaluation of other credits within Corporates and related credit groups Position Requirements 3+ years of analytical experience CFA/CPA or CFA candidate preferred Relevant experience or coverage of Telecommunications, Media, and Technology sectors a plus Capital markets and/or credit analysis experience a plus Expertise in Excel and Word Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment Compensation and Benefits For New York and Chicago roles only: Expected base pay rates will be between $85,000 and $110,000. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which may include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
