This critical role requires deep expertise in software, AI, and infrastructure, paired with a year track record of establishing strategic partnerships with technologists in global organizations. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting customer sales cycles by working with Account Partners, Strategy Leads, and Solution Consultants to understand our customers’ technical environment and to clearly articulate the differentiated value of the Veeva Vault Platform.In this capacity, you will act as a technical thought partner and trusted advisor for all stakeholders. You will excel at shaping secure, scalable solutions that address enterprise challenges in governance, compliance, and developer/administrator productivity. You will guide customers to a best-in-class solution by aligning Veeva Vault Platform capabilities with their business and technology objectives.What You’ll DoTechnical Thought Leadership: Act as a technical thought partner and trusted advisor for all stakeholders, shaping secure, scalable solutions that address enterprise challenges in AI, integration, governance, compliance, and developer productivityCultivate Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain extensive partnerships with technology leaders at major global and enterprise-level organizations to successfully drive Veeva Vault platform successArchitectural Guidance: Guide customers through technical evaluations and architectural decisions, aligning Veeva Vault Platform capabilities with their business and technology objectivesCompelling Communication: Deliver impactful technical presentations, demos, and proofs of concept to showcase the transformative potential of the Veeva Vault PlatformInnovation: Stay at the forefront of Vault Platform innovations, including Veeva AI, bringing technical insight and thought leadership to customer engagementsCustomer Engagement Support: Support the team in preparing and delivering winning presentations and demonstrations. Analyze and understand customer business and technical requirementsCross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and provide feedback from the customer engagements that shapes our product directionRequirements5+ years of experience in pre-sales solution engineering or consultingDeep technical knowledge of enterprise applications, preferably knowledge of the Veeva Vault platformProven aptitude across the domains of software, Artificial Intelligence (AI), infrastructure, and Software as a Service (SaaS)Knowledge of Integration Patterns: (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware)Understanding of DevOps/ALM and CI/CD processesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsExperience creating architectural diagrams, technical specification documents, and data flow mapsA strategic thinker with a customer and team-first mindset and a passion for innovationExcellent presentation and communication skillsDriven self-starter; able to work independentlyWillingness to travel 20-30%Nice to HaveBachelor’s DegreePharmaceutical or Biotech Industry Knowledge: Prior experience or strong familiarity with the drug development lifecycle (e.g., Clinical, Regulatory, Quality) and the use of technology within these processes. (While not mandatory, it's highly advantageous given Veeva's core market)Working knowledge of GxP compliance and Validated SystemsVeeva or Adjacent Ecosystem Experience: Familiarity with the Veeva Vault Platform or experience with other enterprise SaaS platforms/ecosystems prevalent in the Life Sciences domainInterviewing with VeevaWe value your time and believe in a transparent hiring process. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions.
