Job Description
Travel Mammography Tech is needed for 13 weeks to start on or around ASAP in a facility in Michigan. ARRT (M) and BLS are required. 2 years of experience is required. This position may need to rotate to the Farmington location during the contract. Shifts are varied, 8 hours between 7am-5pm, with 2 weekends per month. This position may need to rotate to the Farmington location during the contract (40 hour guarantee) Occasionally a 7a-3:30P shift. Assists in breast biopsy procedures to include needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms. Instructs and positions patients to obtain acceptable radiographs of diagnostic quality. Ensures work area meets appropriate standards of safety, equipment supply and cleanliness levels. Manually enters data ensuring proper preparation for dictation and billing.
