Industrial Mechanical HVAC TechnicianAre you a highly skilled Mechanical HVAC Technician who enjoys solving complex mechanical problems on large commercial and industrial equipment? Do you have extensive experience with boilers, chillers, RTUs, hydronic systems, pumps, and central plant equipment? We're looking for an experienced Industrial Mechanical HVAC Technician to join our team servicing healthcare facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, medical campuses, and other mission-critical commercial buildings throughout the Chicagoland area. This is not residential work. You'll be working on sophisticated mechanical systems where your troubleshooting skills, technical expertise, and professionalism make a real impact every day.What You'll DoDiagnose, repair, maintain, and service heavy commercial and industrial HVAC equipmentPerform troubleshooting on boilers, chillers, RTUs, air handlers, hydronic systems, pumps, cooling towers, and associated mechanical equipmentPerform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on mission-critical HVAC systemsRead and interpret wiring diagrams, piping schematics, mechanical drawings, and sequence of operationsTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical control systemsIdentify root causes of equipment failures and provide long-term repair solutionsComplete detailed service documentation and communicate findings with customersWork safely while maintaining exceptional workmanship and customer serviceMentor less experienced technicians as neededWhat We're Looking For10+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experienceExtensive experience servicing boilers, chillers, RTUs, and large mechanical HVAC systemsStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on complex mechanical equipmentExperience working in healthcare, hospitals, nursing homes, industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, universities, or institutional buildingsWorking knowledge of hydronic systems, pumps, VFDs, cooling towers, and commercial control systemsExperience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) is a plusAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionEPA Universal Certification requiredValid driver's license with a clean driving recordWhat We Offer$40-$55/hour based on experienceFull-time, year-round workHealth InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Holidays401(k)Stable customer base with long-term commercial accountsChallenging mechanical work on large commercial and industrial systemsSupportive team environment with opportunities for continued technical growthIdeal Experience We're especially interested in technicians with backgrounds working for mechanical contractors or service companies specializing in:Hospitals and healthcare systemsNursing homes and assisted living facilitiesCentral utility plantsIndustrial and manufacturing facilitiesUniversities and educational campusesLarge office buildings and institutional propertiesIf you're an experienced mechanical HVAC technician who takes pride in solving complex equipment issues, enjoys working on heavy commercial and industrial systems, and wants to be part of a team that values technical expertise over sales, we'd love to hear from you.
