Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Credential (state-specific)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, Education, or related field
• Experience with IEP development and implementation
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs
• Passion for supporting students with special needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans in accordance with student IEP goals
• Track and assess student progress, adapting strategies to promote academic and social growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to support inclusion and integration
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on student performance
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe classroom environment
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
