Description: The Cath Lab Technician will work in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a similar setting. The technician will provide high-quality care during cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the cath lab equipment. The technician will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures is essential. The role also involves patient education regarding procedures and recovery. The technician must be proficient in monitoring patients' conditions. Effective communication skills are necessary for interacting with team members and patients. Flexibility and the ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment are important. Regular participation in educational activities to maintain competencies is expected.
