Medical Disability Evaluator - Physician
Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Compensation: $200-$230 per hour
Schedule: 2-5 days per week according to your availability
Session Length: 8-hour sessions
Schedule: Weekdays and weekends
Practice Setting: Established clinic locations

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough, structured clinical evaluations for disability compensation cases.

• Review relevant medical information and clinical documentation.

• Document clinical findings accurately using standardized templates and guidelines.

• Formulate clear, evidence-based medical opinions and causation analyses supported by clinical evidence and regulatory standards.

• Ensure all evaluations and reports strictly adhere to federal, state, and organizational regulatory requirements.

• Complete clinical documentation and reports accurately and within required timelines.

Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Licensing

• Degree: MD or DO

• Specialty: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Residents: PGY-3/PGY-4 residents may be considered with USMLE Step 3 passed

• Licensure: Active, unrestricted medical license

• Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in primary specialty

• Exceptional clinical documentation skills and strong attention to detail.

• Comfortable with technology and electronic documentation systems.

• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

• Ability to provide thorough, objective, and evidence-based medical opinions.

• Professional and reliable work approach.

Position Details

• Compensation: $200-$230 per hour
